Cancellation Policy

You can cancel at any time however no payments will be refunded.

For cancellations due to illness or inclement weather we offer a one time rescheduling option. However, we cannot guarantee the same artist or level of artist will be available for your new date. All monies paid will go towards the new date and updated invoice.

We recommend booking services that you know you need for sure. Once we reserve them, they are held to the same cancellation policy and non-refundable payment schedule that is stated in our contracts.

Our artist ranking system is measured by accomplishments such as training, years of experience, client feedback, versatility, and portfolio. The higher level the artist, the longer they've been in the industry and the more versatile their abilities. What our level system is NOT, is a ranking system of talent. Hair and makeup artistry is an art and therefore how "good" an artist is in talent is subject to one's opinion and personal style.

We scout independent artists to join our network and have them do multiple working interviews, to see if they have what it takes to work in the high-end wedding and special-event market that our clientele is. We hold them to the highest of standards and expect the utmost professionalism from each one. In joining our network, they are trained and expected to abide by, above industry standard sanitation practices, and refined client relations in dealing with difficult or high-stress situations. Artists are strongly encouraged to participate in ongoing education.

UNSATISFIED APPOINTMENT PROTOCOL: We do our best to match you with the best fit artist for you, but sometimes style or personality may not match. You have the option to book a trial to try out an artist before reserving future additional appointments. If you choose to reserve a future date before holding a trial session and at your appointment you are unsatisfied with the service provided, we are happy to book you another trial/retrial. Payment responsibility for retrial will depend on different situations; 1) If our artist was unprepared, unable to accomplish a realistic look desired or cut corners in any way and is responsible for an unsuccessful session then you will be entitled to a complimentary retrial with the choice of staying with the same artist or switching to another artist at the same level (depending on availability). 2) If you held a trial with your artist and at the trial expressed satisfaction with the services delivered e.g. "you loved the look" or "you're happy with the look" or "you think it's going to be great on the event day" then our artists will assume you are satisfied and finish your appointment. If you weren't honest about being happy, or you changed your mind about it, then you will be financially responsible if you want to hold a retrial. To be transparent, on average, we do about 90 weddings a year and lots of other types of special events and commercial work throughout the year. We have yearly no more than 3 appointments where our clients are unsatisfied with their artist. Most of those were with lower level artists, requested a new artist and were happy with their experience from there. Being in business since 2010 we have had less than 10 clients cancel their contracts because they were unsatisfied and chose to do business elsewhere. Clients booked with our Master artists have almost never had an unsuccessful appointment.
